I grew up in a small town in southern Michigan (Adrian to be exact) with fantastic parents and a brother who has become one of my best friends. After graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, my wife, Kristin, and I settled in the Columbus, Ohio area and began our life together.
The first half of my career was spent as a finance/accounting professional in the financial services industry with JPMorganChase. I worked with people at all levels of the organization, from analysts to senior executives, realizing the importance of strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Regardless of the team that I was leading or project I was working on, I was always about helping colleagues and team members develop and grow professionally and personally. In fact, of all the accomplishments, I am most proud of my efforts in helping people succeed.
A few years ago, I began to understand that my true passion was not spreadsheets and reports, but to help people become who they were created to be. I wanted to do something that would make a direct and profound difference in peoples lives. And so, after 20 years of professional experience, and a lifetime of learning to listen to and follow God, I left Corporate America to pursue a goal of helping others live better and more fulfilling lives through coaching.
As a coach, I am thrilled to be able to help people discover who they are and discern their God given purpose in life. My own journey — spiritual, professional, personal — has brought me to this point where I can leverage my skills and experience to help others in their own journey.
On the personal front, I love to read, enjoy spending time outdoors, and am an avid ice hockey fan. I am married to my beautiful high school sweetheart and we are blessed to have three great children – two sons and a daughter. We are a homeschool family and live just a few miles outside of Columbus.
